Visual Novels are neat 📸

Hi Jesse,
Thank you so much for finally getting to my request from 2022. It's been a long time waiting!
----------
Radiance
I wanted you react to this one the most to see what you would guess about it; also you had mentioned in a song reaction at the time that you wanted to hear more instruments.
"Birthday" is a very interesting interpretation of the piece,
but you got much closer when you said "reminiscent memory" and "it sounds like you are thinking back into your past"
The story of "Rewrite" is a tale about choices - how doing things differently in your past may have rewritten your present.
----------
What you hear in the song may vary by your reading speed.
Visual Novels are games.
----------
Scattered Flowers
"very somber tonality"
散花
In Japanese, the title is more specific, Scattered Blossoms, as in like cherry-blossoms.
The flowers are most beautiful when they bloom, and then, they are gone.
"it kind of sounds like Touhou slowed down"
Very interesting, I totally hear it!
----------
"I don't know if there's any reoccuring common storylines that get used a lot"
Much like regular old books, visual novels can tell stories about literally anything,
so you should not be surprised to hear that the music of visual novels can sound totally different.
----------
Scene shifts there
"piano is definitely a thing" - yes
"they're all giving me the same feeling though, they all sound sad" - very interesting
"it's like a send-off" - very much so
----------
From these three songs, you got a very narrow slice of the soundtrack, because there are many other songs
that you would never guess belong on the same soundtrack as these three songs.
Key has many gifted composers. You have not heard any of their other games yet.
"Gaining the favor?"
Because you get to make choices during the game, as a result of your choices you will spend more time or less
time with different characters, which will change how the story goes.
Compared to whatever you think your expectations are, yes visual novels are massively bigger in Japan.
It's great to see perspective between yourself and the rest of the world.
----------
Thank you again for the reaction! I hope you consider actually playing through a visual novel one of these days, or watching the anime adaptation based off the original work.
Until next time!

For visual novel music, a lot of the time the music just loops, so in some cases you may only hear part, but in others, you may hear it 2-3 times in a scene its in. It really just depends on the length of the scene itself
