2025-04-16 09:01:36 +0000 UTCScorch 'N' Torch is a level in the "Bright Savannah" world, which is themed around African grasslands. The earlier levels in the world are cheerful and lively, but by the time you get to Scorch 'N' Torch, a massive storm has blown through and set the savannah on fire. You're right on about the more serious vibe; it's actually quite sad seeing the lush and vibrant landscape succumb to a wildfire! It's not exactly desert-themed per se, but I guess the stark burning landscape and African flavor kind of evokes a desert. One of my Platinum requests, "Grassland Groove," is actually one of the levels right before Scorch 'N' Torch before everything burns down, and the difference in vibes between the two is wild. Maybe you could do that one soon so you can compare the two? π
