For a debut of BattleBlock Theater, this is the right song to get in the mindset of how crazy the game itself is. As for the singer of the track, that's one of the developers himself. If I recall correctly, he's also the voice of Stamper, more or less the narrator of the game and the one who grades you on how well you perform on-stage.
