hey, thanks for doing this one. Lufia's soundtrack isn't all amazing stuff, but when it hits, it's legit some of the best stuff of that era.

2025-01-08 10:16:49 +0000 UTCAyyy thanks so much Jesse! Lufia II is my second favorite game of all time (behind only Terranigma) and I've always loved the battle music. There aren't a lot of battle songs but it's truly where the OST shines. I was already happy to see one of the two Lufia II boss battle songs getting into the poll but figured it wouldn't get enough votes since while it's a banger, the game is not as popular if you compare it to the Kirbys or Final Fantasies of this world. I'm so glad you gave this one a chance anyway! About the drums, I always love hearing cool drums since I played them myself and the SNES games do cool stuff with drums. It's one of the reasons I love the SNES era of games and their music. I hope you will get around to hearing the regular boss battle theme as well since both boss battle songs are forever etched into my brain (like you said, since I played it as a kid) and the boss battle slaps big time.
