Oh I'm so happy you've listened to these tracks ! You're on point when you say it's almost like an horror movie. Metroid can be considered one of the the first survival horror game. And it is actually very much inspired from the first Alien movie. I hope you will get some requests for the NES version too (or maybe I will request it if I get my life together ^^'), so you can hear the most oppressive and dreadful beep sounds ever ha ha
