FF16 has a few tracks like this that just come out of nowhere and change up the genre (another example being "Catacecaumene") even though the soundtrack is largely orchestral and piano.

2025-01-09 14:12:52 +0000 UTCI know in an interview Soken said this was one of the songs he didn't tell the producer (yoshi-p) that he made for the game lol. Might be why it stands out so much. I overall prefer his 14 stuff since he is given a lot more freedom but I still love 16's ost.
