New 'Scared' Mood in The Sims 4

There is a patch expected today for The Sims 4 that will add a new 'scared' mood to the base game. I know people may be wondering what will happen to Meaningful Stories with a new mood in the game!

What I'm hoping is that Meaningful Stories will continue to function after the patch, as the mod has already been made with basic compatibility with custom moods from other mods in mind. But what is unavoidable is that the mod will need an update for the new mood to be affected by the emotional inertia features. Until this is done, the new mood won't get things like extended durations or resistance to further mood changes. I am expecting that this update should be relatively uncomplicated to make, but may be time-consuming, as a lot of files and references across the mod will need to be duplicated for the new mood.

I will make another post after the patch is out to confirm whether my mods are safe to use in the new game version, and then I will start work on the scared mood update for Meaningful Stories.

I will ask for your patience as the update may not be ready tonight, but if the mod is otherwise working for the patch, this shouldn't prevent you from updating your game or using the mod in the meantime.

UPDATE: It turned out one other small update to the mod was also needed for the patch.
