The Sims 4 patch 1.54.120 and Meaningful Stories 1.1.3.0
Added 2019-08-14 17:59:56 +0000 UTCThe recent game patch for The Sims 4 included some bugfixes and some new options for displaying in-game photos, including the ability to drag them onto surfaces to display them in standing frames.
Meaningful Stories is updated to re-enable the mod's unofficial patch features to work in new game version 1.54.120.
The unofficial patch features fix Maxis-made game bugs, but automatically disable themselves after a game patch in case the bugs are fixed in the patch. One of these bugs was fixed in this game patch, but the others were not and their unofficial patch features have been re-enabled in this mod update.
The current unofficial patch features are:
- Toddler Skill Gain Moodlets Fix - Toddlers will give the 'Growing So Fast' moodlet to nearby caregivers only when they reach a skill milestone, and not every time you load the game. Inquisitive Toddlers will gain the 'Learned Something New' moodlet only when they gain a skill level, and not every time you load the game.
- Aspiration Resolution Fix - A sim with a resolution to complete an aspiration milestone will no longer cause errors when they complete an aspiration milestone.
This unofficial patch feature is no longer needed, as the bug it addressed was fixed in the game update:
- Blacklisted Commodity Fix - Having a sim prevented from having a specific motive or other commodity will no longer cause errors when a buff attempts to change the blacklisted commodity. This mostly affects combinations of mods such as Triplis' Sorcerer mod with LittleMsSam's More Fun Stuff mod.
