To answer your question about intense themes in persona 5 specifically, yes you’ve listened to blooming villain and at some point the song keeper of lust will probably surprise you. The acid jazz permeates at least 80% of the soundtrack and I would agree that most of it is pretty chill though. Blooming villain’s p5 scramble version though…. Oh and on freedom and security you didn’t ask but I happen to think that the name and sound is so descriptive of the area it plays in that I think I need to explain it. That song plays during a dungeon that is a prison that has no locks and limited if any guards. This is because those imprisoned within have chosen the security that comes with choosing not to think freely. Your team is confronted with people who don’t want the freedom that you cling to and thusly the dungeon is about the choice of the two, do you accept people’s decision to be shackled but secure or try to force freedom on to them. It’s one of my favorites for that and many more reasons. Glad you came back to p5.
