Taking suggestions for VGM Vibes 6 ~ Cold / Snow / Ice

I will now start taking suggestions for "cold" themes in video games.
This could be anything from snow levels, ice attacks, cold locations, bosses and anything else.
I'll leave some keywords at the bottom to help jog your memory.

Reminder that I prioritize suggestions based on songs I've reacted to on the channel to already, or songs currently waiting in the list. Any suggestion that's not one of these two will get the least consideration.

Got a few requests for this though I may be a bit late lol. Monster Hunter has Pokke Village and Seliana which I think are great themes for cold village locations, and a bit of a different vibe would be Cool Edge - Night from Sonic Unleashed :)

I regret not requesting it this month lol)

2024-08-17 14:01:15 +0000 UTCI always felt Phantoms was underrated, but considering it plays in one short cutscene, and a pretty small area/dungeon, I can see it being forgotten by some. I definitely think it's one of the best icy/snowy sounding songs in the series though. I figured Press Garden Act 2 is not likely to make it in when the very popular Ice Cap Zone exists lol. And not to mention all the other popular choices out there... the competition is quite heavy. It really is a great song though! I think Act 1 not being snow is fine, I figured even if listened to alongside Act 2 it could be left out of the actual VGM Vibes video if need be.

2024-08-17 06:06:24 +0000 UTCOh yeah, Phantoms! Completely forgot about that one. Jesse has already heard People of the North Pole from the same game, but Phantoms is also definitely a snow theme. And how the heck did I forget Blossom Haze, my favorite track of Sonic Mania?! This one's a new zone that's nowhere else but Mania, so no earlier versions of the track, this one's pure Tee Lopes goodness. There's Act 1, too, which is not on the list, though in this case, it's strangely not even a snow song, so it's up to Jesse what to do here.

Both of these tracks carry a lot of weight for world of warcraft players

The official OST has them separate, I believe, but a lot of YouTube videos put them together, with the second version coming in after the first one loops. The Sonic songs, in both cases, have a second track associated with the same level. In both cases that second track is not on the request list. For White Acropolis, the second song is called "The Base", for Sonic Unleashed, it's "Cool Edge (Day)". Do with this knowledge what you will =)
