In case youโre wondering, this game is a mobile gacha game version of octopath that is debatably canon, and tells some plot points that bridge the story between the end of Octopath 1 and the beginning of Octopath 2. Kinda sucks they went this route with the game cuz a lot of things about it, especially the music are amazing. Just kinda a slog to get through and very pay-to-win.
