Wow, this one's been a long time! So first of all, yes I do listen to your tangents. Always helps me get in your headspace and I learn about music and maybe some artists I've never heard from. To clarify some of your questions, Star Ocean's battle system is not turn based, it's a real time combat RPG like FF VII Remake/Rebirth. The song plays when you take on some of the more high tech/sci-fi bosses in the game. On of the reasons I picked the song is because I'm quite certain that it is a sample voice from somewhere as it's exactly the same as Iwatodai Dorm in Persona 3, which you've already listened to. This game came first by a few years, but I'm sure it's been used other places. The first time I played Persona 3 I was SO confused as to why I was hearing those lyrics.
