As for title and then subtitle, it is partially due to translation from Japanese to English but it’s mostly just how the composer, Zun, does things. I don’t fully understand it myself but I kinda like how recognizable the titles are, you read it and know it’s touhou.

The lunarians are a race of people who warred with the Americans when they landed on the moon and Clownpiece is aligned against the people of the moon but with no affiliation with America. It’s like a foreigner wearing an offensive shirt without understanding why it’s offensive but liking the reaction it garners from their enemy.
