Xenogears, the Xenosaga Trilogy, and the Xenoblade trilogy are all self contained stories BUT there are sprinkles in the games that sort of tie them togther, but because of copyright eggshell walking, they can't officially say they are connected. As someone who has played them all I like to think they are connected even though it's not official.
