stranger of paradise is an interesting case for sure. The character design is pretty bland to be honest. Like pretty every characters on the game got that NPC looking. The main character is also well quite simple minded and dont have any depth. Some people love that, others hate. However the OST is really good, every player who is an FF fan acknowledges that fact. The story makes a bridge between the lore of the very first FF (FF1) and the dissidias FF. With the DLC it leaves quite an impact. And the landscapes you go through are like alternative famous places from all the other FF. For instance, take that forest you start early in, in FF9. It's here in SOP but with some differences that are well linked with the main story/dlc content.

2024-02-04 17:40:35 +0000 UTCsome tracks from that ost are from Ryo Yamazaki, also Nobuo is in some of them with Mizuta. I think he is in the credits because he is the OG producer for some of those tracks, can't say if Nobuo did something himself though.

2024-02-03 04:52:59 +0000 UTCfunny enough i've played the game yesterday and day before yesterday, as a FFXI fan I had so much satisfaction going through the game, it's so pleasant to listen to Mizuta reworking so many songs from so many different FF's. The 11 stage in stranger of paradise, was sooo delightful to me. also the 8 and 9 so nostalgic and lovely.
