2023-07-18 07:09:21 +0000 UTCI don’t think I’m alone in saying this became an instant classic for Sonic fans straight away. Sonic has never went this hard but my god am I so glad he had now. The song has vocals by Kellin Quinn from Sleeping with Sirens. Safe to say he has a fantastic vocal range (he was indeed the only person singing). The lyrics were written by Tyler Smyth of Dangerkids and the music itself was composed by Tomoya Ohtani who has been working on the series since the Adventure days and took over as lead sound director from Sonic 06 to present. The lyrics are from Sonic’s perspective as he fights a massive eva unit looking mech while in his Super Sonic form. The song is basically Sonic saying “Hey, I know you think you’re hot stuff but I’ve fought some real big shots and I’m still kicking, you’re nothing to me”. But yeah, I’m glad to see you enjoyed the song, great work as always Jesse!
