Ports sometimes combine Ys 1 & 2 into one game, which is why the title here is the way it is. This song started as a PC-88 chiptune in Ys 1. The first three Ys games were ported to a lot of systems with different sound hardware, so even the songs that aren't reused in sequels/prequels have a lot of different versions. The PC Engine CD version of this one's also an interesting listen.
