I'm so glad other people are suggesting stuff from this game. If you like this, I can not wait till you get to the rest! My request "1-2 Crypteque" is legit like a top 3 game tracks of all time to me. This is the first stage of the game indeed, zone 1-1. It's funny you mention the almost "vocal" quality of the music. There is actually a shopkeeper in each stage and when you move close to him he starts singing along with the song. You can find each song on youtube with "(With Shopkeeper)" in the title if you are curious. They are great! Could also be fun to just listen to them back to back in the same video because it's an excuse to listen to another loop of the track with a little different flavor added in. Danny Baranowski is an absolute legend, and is one of the best composers at quintessential "Video Game Music" that I have ever heard. He is also the composer for Super Meat Boy if you are familiar with that soundtrack.
