Ram is kind of a two sided character. She was basically made as a puppet for the big bad of Xrd. Strive is her learning that the world isn't so cut and dry 1s and 0s like her master told her. The good guys got her on their side after they didn't kill her when they defeated her. She's a robot learning how to feel, basically. Also, could be interpreted that the female voice was the evil master she was following and the male voice was her internal voice, so she eventually learned to think for herself without the evil mastermind's influence.
