I think it is everything combined. You have Scinter going off and nearly killing a girl, which causes everyone to run away from Scinter into a town that doesn't like the Troika. That leads to a nightmare attack which they barely escape from AND the twins are hunted down and cut up by Ravat, one of them barely escaping with her life. Nainso is done with niceties. Those around him are being hurt and killed and he is so done.

Dang i thought i was quick enough to notice that the powers are always the same color as the halo of the user and that nainso’s power was the blue light on the floor but a quick backtrack to chapter 13 lead to the light being there prior so *snaps fingers* dang

Yes, they shaved her hair at the end of volume 4. As for using her power: Ravat has said that powers protect the dreamkeeper: her using the power could be involuntary. As well as offering some protection. Nainso activating his power could also be involuntary.

So now I have questions. Did they shave Tinsel's hair? It would make sense as she can use it as a weapon. She is attempting to use her power, which I wonder what is it technically if she doesn't have any hair to control? Then there is Nainso who is also using his power, whatever that is. Perhaps he is able to cancel out her power? I hope answers are forthcoming soon!! :)
