Traditional- Pool Nap
Added 2018-04-07 23:02:47 +0000 UTCI had a set of actual non-pencil watercolours arrive in the mail and used them on this piece. I'm generally pretty satisfied with how this came out- I had another sketch of the same concept, but I wasn't feeling how it looked at all.
What I'm really happy about with this is the subtleties of the colours and washes in places- things like how the visor slightly shades and also tints the face, or how the water obscures the items submerged beneath it. The green reflected on the floaty also pleases me.
Oh- Used Bleed Proof White again for the white highlights! I was going to use masking fluid but I had already put down colour before I recalled I had that to use.
