Very true. Ravat sent for the monster, which could just be a way to mess with the enemy, a faster way to kill mace or something similar. I bet this is all on ravat I'm guessing nabby did not condone this assult. Mace was with the troika and sending taphos in retaliation for guillotine seems out of place unless it's a diversion to grab him

Iselwyr

The colors are INSANE

Rocoro

Yeah, I'm not sure this nightmare has a particular target. Maybe Scinter? The signal rune was placed on one of the Indigos, so I think its mission is to just mess the Troika up.

Shannon TJ

That doesn't really make sense considering it already killed the doctor and also tried to kill Evzen, Lilith, and Evzen's dad. It's more likely it was given specific instructions to not harm Bast.

Insomni-act

I think if the nightmares have been told to kill this specfic kid by any means they might just ignore anyone else till they kill mace. Bast is a threat sure, but mace take top priority

Iselwyr

I can't believe Bast got out-edgelorded!

Alarm Frog

*teleports behind you* OMAE WA MOU SHINDEIRU ...Except it didn't kill Bast! :'D

Shannon TJ

Rather than teleporting him, it would have been a better choice going in for the kill. I'm sure Bast wouldn't survive being impaled, so there must be another reason for getting him away from the action.

Insomni-act

Could it be that Ravat doesn't want to kill his own son? Hmm

Insomni-act

Seems the monster can teleport

Iselwyr

Did Whip transport Bast to safety at the bottom?

BarbadosSlim

Very anti climactic ^^

Synariel

Tha'ts the scariest thing about Nightmares, they're monsters that can think!

Death of Ink

Teleportation, a sneaky trick villains like to pull.

Death of Ink

Crafty Nighty!

Garrett Simpson

Pssh, nothing personal

NobleIndigo

What just happen?

Lord Kiyo

Teleporting is totally cheating! >:(

Death of Ink

This thing must be smarter than I'd thought it was! The rune just showed it where to go, and the monster teleported on its own

Iselwyr

Pathos has a thing against bast
