I'm well aware that Ravat was written prior to the manga. However just because the novels began before the Manga really doesn't mean anything considering this is the first we've seen of Evzen and Tari's power. I'm pretty sure many details and ideas tend to change throughout the progression of a story. It's not a bad thing nor an insult. I love a good homage if that's the case.

Well to be fair I'm pretty sure Ravat was written way before My Hero Academia. So not likely a homage. MHA started as a manga in 2014 and I read volume 3 in 2012-2013 and that's where we first saw Ravat use his power. Evzen's power was likely also written before it. I don't know about Tari since that's a fan cameo

I feel like it's because Whip's always been able to fly away from any threat. He might be about to protect Mace here, though.

I have a hard time figuring out what the action is sometimes. I see Whip using a power but don't know what it is as an example. Did he pull Mace to safety or is it just activating and we don't know what it is yet?

I think it's implied the kids have been practising their powers while staying at the Troika base. Which is why Whip now has a halo present when using his.

I gotta ask, but were some of these powers inspired by MHA? Evzens and Tari's power seem pretty similar to Mirio and Uraraka. Ah also didn't notice how Ravat's is a bit similar to Tomura's decay quirk. I love the little details and homages if that was done intentionally. Alright I'm done weebing out now 😂

Is this the first we see Whip with a halo? And his whole body glows. Whip is more than just a pet. Also seems Mace made a good enough distraction so other people can get away. Brave or stupid, he saves a few lives.... maybe.
