A newly charted territory has been confirmed.

The Ancient Forest, a rare and perilous biome boasting a magicule concentration forty times the normal ambient level. For comparison, that’s only slightly less than the infamous Labyrinth itself (sixty times average).

The forest is home to colossal trees, towering mushrooms, and massive boulders. At its heart grows the legendary Labyrinth Tree, now known to exist only within this forest and nowhere else in the world.

Field reports confirm a higher-than-normal presence of Medium Spirits, with a rare chance of encountering a rare and mighty Greater Spirit.

Herbalists will also be pleased to hear that Hipokute herbs grow here in slightly greater numbers than elsewhere.

Be advised: some of the giant trees conceal Labyrinth Portals high in their branches. These gateways are few and well-hidden, but lead directly into the depths of the Labyrinth.
