It is when he becomes overly nice, and as Zeb always says “puts you on a pedestal”, for a while it is nice, but it in the end... it can get to much, to where the compliments doesnt even matter. I think the reason why a lot of girls go after guys like Zeb is because he talks to them as he would with any other, and us girls like that. Im not saying that you shouldnt give compliments, just do it sometimes - to still show that you want to be more than just her friend.
