Occult themed food ?

Do you want to see some occult themed food ? What effects do you want them to have ?

Suggest away!

But please no gruesome ones 😄

Comments

Atleast once a year I make a set of occult foods!

MunMun

I'm uh.. a huge Sims Occult lover and I feel like they just didn't get enough recipes/love.

Russian Succubus

I know I'm REALLY late for this, but I finally wrote all of them down: Sims 4 Occult Recipe Ideas Vampire: Bat blood (plasma) soup Blood (plasma) lollipops/ice cream Blood (plasma) tacos Rare blood (plasma) steak Blood (plasma) cakes/wedding cake/cupcakes Blood (plasma) tea Bloody Mary (with plasma) Werewolf: Different raw meat kabobs Any typical meaty foods replaced with raw meat Werewolf kibble Moon cakes? (like a cake with a full moon and cupcakes with a decoration of moon phases?) Mermaid: Seafoam taco Kelp taco Seaweed salad Raw fish sandwich Kelp burger Seafood burger with seafoam Kelp salad Fried starfish Spinach seaweed chips and dip Candied seaweed Lagoon jello cups Oyster cookies with kelp/seaweed/seafoam Any seafoam/kelp/raw fish recipe ideas Spellcaster: For this I was just thinking maybe some cute Harry Potter themed foods or something like- Bertie Botts Every Flavored Beans Cauldron Cakes Pumpkin Pastys Chocolate Frogs Butterbeer Frozen Butterbeer Pumpkin juice/fizz Fizzing Whizzbees or exploding bon bons (pop rocks+chocolate) Sherbert lemons (lemon sherbert with pop rocks) Candy/chocolate wands Jelly slugs (like gummy worms) Pixie puffs (some kind of dessert) Alien: ‘Wiggly’ food recipes Space cake (shaped like UFO?) Stardust soup? Alien (movie) themed dishes like- Xenomorph (Ovomorph) eggs (eaten as they are) Facehugger burgers etc Chestburster kabobs/skewers etc Xenomorph stew etc Ghost: I really have no ideas for this one. But I’ll try to come up with some in the future

Russian Succubus

From these comments, it looks like people just really want things that cater to the tastes of non-humans

Brittany Feldhake

Having more foods that Vampires can eat would be great, if that's something you can do. This diet restriction is rough on my foodie sim

Brittany Feldhake

that is actually a good idea

MunMun

Ooooh yes I forgot abt that ! Re downloading asap ! Even adding more tabs within that cauldron could work . Might save you some time

Royecii

I'm from South Africa, and it would be amazing to see some food and drink from here. To be clear, I'm talking about South African food, not African, there is a difference. <3 Things like Melktert (Milktart), Koeksisters (Twisted Sisters), Braaibord (Kinda like BBQ meat and sausage, with potato salad / mixed salad and Braaibrood (Bread with tomato, onion and cheese, roasted on the fire until brown and the cheese have melted) / Roosterkoek (Bread dough that you roll into balls, flatten and roast on the fire until light and puffy), Vetkoek en Kerrie Mince (Bread dough in balls, deep fried in oil, filled with curry mince and veggies), Karingmelkbeskuit (our traditional Buttermilk Rusks), Potjiekos (kinda like a stew, made in a dutch oven / three legged cauldron, over the fire), Rooibos Tee (Rooibos Tea), Vyf Rose Tee (Five Roses Tea, we call it Black Tea, like Ceylon Tea), Pap en Wors, (Maize meal made nice and thick, like a thick porridge, with sausage fried in a tomato and onion sauce, added on the Pap). There's a lot more, these are just some ideas. Functional items, I thought about a Perfumery, to make functional perfumes, and maybe lotions. Like your soap station, but with more beauty creations, especially perfumes and lotions. I know Pied Piper got the maker for masks and lip balms and shampoos, etc, and it's an amazing idea. So maybe use your soap station as a base for this, or add the options to it, I think it would be one of the best creations ever, as your functional items are super awesome. Also, a chocolatier maker, to make all different kinds of chocolates, and also make like chocolate gift packs for other sims. Like a bag of small chocolates, a bouquet of chocolates on a stick, a box of truffles, different kinds of slabs, etc. Ingredients maybe like South African tea bushes, Kweper (Quinces) for Quince Jelly and sweets, Gemsbok Komkommer (Wild Cucumber) for salads and jams, Maroela (Marula fruit) as snacks or to make the liquer Amaroela, Waterblommetjies (kind of water flower) used in stews and potjiekos, Buchu ( Buchu) for teas, dried for snacks and flavored water. There's still a LOT more, but I will stop here for now, before I get lost in the wonder of creations. :D Thank you so much for asking about my ideas ! <3

Vanessa Kuhn

Yes! Exactly! I forgot you already did one too! That would be perfect i think!

Jade

I am thinking of doing something likea small tabletop magic food cauldron similar to my potion transmutation cauldron -https://icemunmun.in/2020/10/21/cauldron-potion-transmutation-witchy-brew-cauldron-version-2/

MunMun

Something like my sandwich stand but for cakes ? https://icemunmun.in/2022/06/17/finger-sandwich-set/

MunMun

I am thinking of doing a mini food cauldron like my Potion transmutation cauldron - https://icemunmun.in/2020/10/21/cauldron-potion-transmutation-witchy-brew-cauldron-version-2/

MunMun

Can you give me some ideas about the ingredients and functional items you are thinking of ?

MunMun

Occults in game! But general spooky theme ideas will be good too!

MunMun

Oh i dont like brands in game at all! it will be all inspired stuff

MunMun

Hihi and Oily food for Servos - wouldn't it be good?

Steffi Jänsch

I'd LOVE to have Ghost Food - you know, half-invisible (or semipermeable), so that Ghosts finally can enjoy food. I'd really love that. :D

Steffi Jänsch

Insects are a good idea too. I second that. Raising grubs and crickets really aren't very worth it when there's only like 1-2 recipes to choose from.

Maid Molly

I second the insect idea, it's a fascinating topic and it'd tie in nicely with many of the elements from Eco Living and other such packs

Alyssa Nagel

I love this idea ! For Spellcasters & Vamps . A mini cauldron would be nice to cook or make drinks with , Harry Potter recipes maybe . For vamps a few foods or drinks with buffs to have them withstand being outdoors in sun for longer ,or enhance or negatively effect certain powers . Excited to see what you come up with , appreciate your creations .

Royecii

Yeah, insect-themed food - https://www.foodandwine.com/travel/gourmet-bug-dishes-around-world. They are considered very healthy, so could give a boost there, good for green fiends and adventurous ones. Hey, it´s new and fancy so maybe the snobs will take a liking too. 😉 And you could include insects from the game, making collecting them necessary. https://time.com/3830167/eating-bugs-insects-recipes/ -

For spellcasters it would be nice to have food linked to magical spells when eating or drinking them, using ingredients and herbs from the game and your creations. For some ideas - https://otherworldlyoracle.com/magical-properties-of-food-list/ . Vampires (especially for those wanting to remain humanlike) could use more plasmafruit-based foods and drinks like mentioned above - appetizers, salads, soups, pudding; but blood-based food can be done too - I am quite sure blood sausage is not only known in Germany. Concerning mermaids more food based on seaweed - salads are nice, I have a liking for them IRL - https://www.brit.co/living/healthy-eating/seaweed-recipes/ . It is considered being very healthy and could influence that lifestyle. Aliens need strange and colorful food, some kind of culture-shock. Insect-based recipes could fit in too and using the plants coming with GTW from Sixam - they could enhance alien abilities and make humans either very sick or give a strenght boost, concentration boost, skill boost or similar - https://www.grayguardians.com/what-do-aliens-eat/. This one is fun - https://www.scifiideas.com/futuristic-food-generator/ Werewolves surely will love more meat on the bone - the fancier ones trying to hide might go for tartar. Though meat on the bone can be fancy too - https://www.gourmettraveller.com.au/recipes/recipe-collections/recipes-for-meat-cooked-on-the-bone-14422 - https://www.greatbritishchefs.com/collections/tartare-recipes?pk_vid=f0d229a0060c19b91662065587485833

Ardled

I would love to see something akin to the plasma fruit but green and glowing for aliens. For the werewolves a giant turkey leg would be funny.

Deagan Wolf

Yes, please! I'd love to do an occult restaurant that featured the new recipes. Food for mermaids could be served in open clams as a suggestion. Maybe death flower cupcakes or cookies for vampires. Flower-based foods for fairies and plant sims.

DovahFem

For vampires, I think it could be pretty cool to have drinks and foods based around the plasma fruit. Like, plasma fruit pancakes, could be SOOO cool (it could be a thing already, I'm not sure yet) if plasma fruit could be made into fizzy drinks for them. And, if it wouldn't be too much work, maybe varients of plasma fruits that were different "flavors" or maybe just colors. Blue plasma fruit, yellow, ect For mermaids, maybe kelp or even cool sushi flavors. Mermaids probably actually eat a lot of fish. Aliens, hmm.. Maybe just anything random you could think of, really, you could do anything with it. I think it could be cool to possibly just make some alien plants with colorful foods they go in. Sixam is SOOOO colorful. And, because it's aliens, I think it's the perfect time to make something that isn't really based in reality. Plantsims I'm not entirely sure on. The only thing I could think of is very rare plants that take a lot of grafting to come up with. Werewolves, I guess just more raw meat? Spellcasters, I can't come up with too much but maybe cauldron-exclusive recipes? Sorry for so many ideas, it's too easy to come up with them.

Adjuvant

Maybe it's just me, but, I hate Harry Potter. Even if I loved it, I still wouldn't want it in my game. I hate real world brands in my game. But, HP inspired could be cool.

Adjuvant

For vampires I'd love to see a blood orange cake, for mermaids maybe some seaweed or ocean related, and maybe something for the most neglected occult in the game: Plantsims!

Rikke Myhre

I always enjoy witchy themed stuff. And checking through Pinterest, all the Occult themed foods and stuff, would be awesome to see those in the game. I have so many ideas for foods and ingredients and functional items, that I would absolutely adore to create, but after all these years, I still don't know how to do it all. I really enjoy your creations, and I know you'll create awesome things for all of us to enjoy. Thank you. <3

Vanessa Kuhn

Okay, so I love this concept. And hear me out: Aliens are vastly overlooked in Sims 4 (not as much as Plantsims, but close!). They have a nice little array if fruits/vegetables, and I would love, love, love to see them used in dishes. We also know a Sixam Pit Beast exists from Dine Out. The Sixam Mosquito tap also implies alien origin. Things like 'stuffed fang flower' kinda like zucchini flowers, or orb fruit jelly cups, or quill fruit sorbet, etc. Bizarre fruit and UFO fruit would also be kinda cool to involve in the alien foods.

Karen A

Hmmm... maybe fairy cakes? Maybe the effects could help with farming or caring for farm animals.

Willow

OMG!! I now need her to pick Harry Potter just so she can make a Polyjuice drink lol

Whiskeikitten

I would love to be able to make more in the cauldron than mac & cheese. Or even a tabletop cauldron with different soups & stews. Also recipes using kelp like seaweed salad, sushi-type rolls without seafood or seasoned seaweed snacks.

Evs

Is this occult as in the game, or general spooky theme?

Ali Mari

meat smoothies for werewolves, or deserts or salads including red meat for werewolves.

Decoy Sims

Yes! I've been dying for pumpkin juice and butterbeer, canary cremes, chocolate frogs, fizzing whizbees

Brittany

I don't have recipe ideas, but it would be pretty cool if certain occults (at least the ones that have perks) could gain like a higher leveling rate temporarily after consuming certain food. And the occults without perk trees could get a buff that comes in the game by default or a more simple skill boost maybe?

Marie

Yes to all of this!!

PJ Brown

This is assuming you ment occult like in game state. But if you just mean occult general spooky stuff... how about eye of newt kabobs? The witches brew- a green frothy bar punch with chunks of fruit in it? Kraken calamari? Dragon steaks? Nessie cakes, like crab cakes but nessier. Yeti Spaghetti? Spider tacos? Lizard tongue stew? Snake surprise?

Heather Dasher

Plasma Pasta, seaweed salad, coral crunchies (a cookie), Plasma Fruit Smoothie, plasma bubble tea? Rare bubble tea made with raw meat for werewolves? Maybe recipes that use the alien harvestables at give aliens a taste of home buff. Mother's cake, icecream, souffe something that uses the fruit from the plants in strangerville and gives sims the infection.

Heather Dasher

Definitely Harry Potter-themed food. Polyjuice potion, anyone?

gameblogger

Would love to see food for mermaid or spellcasters. I agree with what others say about Harry Potter themed. I’m not super familiar but would be cool to have floating or fantastical elements. More seaweed dishes would be cool for mermaids. Or something that uses the taro, coconut or pineapple from the pack.

Dana Anna

Someone was just lamenting the lack of vampire drinks (specifically they wanted different types of plasma teas) and maybe even a teapot that had plasma teas as an option.

Sims Storyteller

I second the cakes and ale as another fellow pagan; specifically, I loooooove honey cakes! I make mine like little muffins/cupcakes so its not the same as the one that came with Seasons. I think it would be really cute to have it set up as like a bigger tea platter from the Wedding Stories pack so the cakes and cups are set up almost ceremoniously. LBB did an afternoon tea stand; I think something like that would be super cute as well!

Jade

I'm going to agree with the Harry Potter theme food. That would be amazing. Spellcasters really don't have much or any theme food in game.

Whiskeikitten

Non-seafood sushi for Mermaid sims would be cool, but if that’s already a thing, then Harry Potter themed food for Spellcasters.

Perfect Cyan

Maybe an attraction type food. If a vampire eats ____, then he attracts others with a certain trait or personality!

Ashley Sjolander

As a Pagan, one thing that I often use is something called "Cakes and Ale" - I make crescent Moon cookies and juice in place of ale because I can't drink anymore (med interaction). That would be neat. They're made with almonds too.

Heather Thompson

Harry Potter themed occult food would be pretty cool!

Kaelee Graham

Would love to see some more vampire themed takes on regular foods and drinks! Wines, juices, pastas, desserts, etc💜💜💜
