About Soap Making Mod
Added 2022-07-08 11:31:01 +0000 UTCSome people have been letting me know that another user has a similar mod. I just want to let you guys know that I am aware.
Last year when people brought the mod to my attention that someone has made a mod which looks very similar to my mods, I examined the mods and realized that large parts of my candle making mod was adapted to make into a soap making mod.
This included crafting process, gameplay element, interaction names, buff names, mod descriptions, and post write up. This was all the more apparent because i use a lot of phrases which are part of Indian English and not really global English. Plus I was posting about soap making for atleast 2-3 years by that point including pictures, videos and ideas.
But ultimately they did take down the mod and apologized. I bear them no ill will. I dont want them to be questioned over this as this is old news now. Since them I have them blocked so I have no idea what they are doing now.
I dont own any ideas and I love to talk to other modders and exchange ideas with them. Many of them are my friends. What I had issue with is that the assumption that it was okay to adapt my stuff directly without any discussion. Hell even EA takes some of my ideas and I feel honored lol.
But the episode was deeply distressing for me and I had stopped working on the soap making station..hence it so long to finish. I dont want drama. I dont have time but I wanted to clarify this point.

I have a plan to have the different "brands" have competing farms and things. I am still waiting for pigs and goats in game meat, milks and cheeses :-) just a cool hint. Love Ya Lady.
