2022-02-03 09:42:46 +0000 UTCFor entrees, ooooo you can get really creative. Where I live, Barbeque is very popular, believe it or not! I mentioned some Italian entrees in the other post, chicken fettuccini, lasagne, broiled fish and rice pilaf, roast beef and mashed potatoes. Less traditional ideas might include roast chicken with zoodles or Butternut squash risotto.

2022-02-02 18:26:52 +0000 UTCI went to a wedding once where the vegetarian option was an elaborate salad -- mixed greens, edamame, dried cranberries, shredded carrot, glazed walnuts, feta cheese, slivered almonds, cubed and fried tofu, avocado, an oil/vinegar dressing, and I think it had onion as well. Pretty tasty, there was herbed bread too. I do think if you're gonna make wedding food, there needs to be vegetarian and vegan options too, especially since we can now have those traits in game. :) Another option for a veggie meal would be a roast dinner, but without a meat selection. Roast potatoes, roast veggies, a grain salad, cranberry sauce (maybe). Or a veggie pie and side-salad, maybe.

2022-02-02 12:43:33 +0000 UTCIn the UK (not sure where you are based but if you are, I’ll answer it as if you’re not lol), soups and/or pâté is typically served as a starter, with a hot roast dinner for the main (beef/chicken with roasted potatoes, veggies and gravy), and then pudding/dessert is anything from cheesecakes to chocolate cakes etc. For later on in the evening, in the reception/party, buffets are popular with a wide range of food offered. Some people even have hog roasts to make pork baps (rolls/cobs/barms - the term varies throughout the UK), with stuffing and gravy.
