2021-12-19 09:58:39 +0000 UTCVegan/Vegetarian options: Chickpea burgers, "garden" burgers can be a combo of bell peppers, carrots, and other veggies. Another common vegan variety is to grill an entire portobello mushroom cap and use it like a burger patty. King oyster mushrooms are also frequently used in place of meat. Right now we have faux meat cubes that simulate red meat, but a faux white meat we could grow on the vertical planters would be cool. We could make faux chicken patties. For meat options, I love spicy burgers with fried jalapeno pepper rings, mushroom/swiss burgers (new gourmet cheeses could be added to the mill!), and here in the southern US we do love caramelized onions and barbecue sauce on burgers.

2021-12-18 23:25:00 +0000 UTCI am a fan of the old-fashioned beef, lettuce, tomato, pickle ketchup, mustard, and cheddar on a bun. However, I recently had a veggie burger that contained chopped nuts, bulgar, and a mixture of veggies topped with lettuce, tomato, garlic aioli, and swiss, and presented on a sourdough bun with a side of parmesan fries. It was delicious.

Hawaiin Burger - has maple bacon, swiss cheese, teryaki sauce, and a pineapple ring on it. Reg Steak Burger - done your way, and charbroiled. Jalapeño Salmon Burger with Tartar sauce and dill. Spicy Chicken Burger - (has the flames coming out of your mouth), ranch dressing, chicken breast smothered in the hottest hot sauce. Comes with a slice of tomato and lettuce (optional).
