Added 2021-04-27 11:36:02 +0000 UTCThemed set -
- Similar to what I did with the banana harvestable or what I am doing with the mochi maker for May.
- I will pick a theme ( maybe via polls, maybe something which really inspires me) and then make harvestables, appliances, ingredients and recipes. May be consumables...may be craftables.
- If the theme is big ( like a waffle/pancake maker or soap making station etc), I may spread the theme over 2-3 months.
- If the idea i have in mind will take a lot of time I will do mini sets and random recipe sets in between months.
Random Stuff -
- No underlaying theme or some very loose mini themes
- Random collection of recipes and drinks
- Mainly filler sets
- Sometimes mini recipe sets based on a cuisines and harvestables.
Update/Add on to older stuff-
- I will add on to older stuff - more soups, more lemonades, more nectar/alchol/spirit categories for nectar machine, more canning station products and categories.
- This will have no fixed schedule and i will do this add ons when i feel inspired!
What I want to do
- One month I may do big themed content, then maybe the next month will be add ons and random stuff.
But I cant decide whether you guys will like if i dedicate a month to only themed content.
( Like for May - Its all about mochi and green tea --> harvestables, craftable mill products, mochimaker appliance with 13 different mochi types + fridge/stove craftable multi plates of mochi +/- green tea beverages
Or maybe a month dedicated to different African cuisines - though a month would be very in adequate to cover the whole range...).
So I want to ask you guys what you want ? Would you be okay if i concentrate on certain themes for certain months and do only stuff related to that ?
I will most certainly have months with random recipes and drinks ( requests + stuff which inspires me) in between! Also i will revisit older themes!
Sorry for the wall of text 😸

Truly, Do what makes you happy. Can't pls everyone all the time. But as long as your happy the cc will be amazing. (Seriously...I didn't even want any new cakes, but when that ombre one came out, I knew I was wrong.😋)

2021-06-12 01:47:33 +0000 UTCi'd love to see pigs and sheeps in the game, also maybe some recipes from different countries like spain (tortilla de patatas, paella...) but you should always do whatever you feel like doing, i'll support you anyway :)

2021-05-06 19:05:35 +0000 UTCI LOVE your work! I'd like more casual foods, like pizzas, burgers, things with bacon, sodas, candy. If we could somehow have more animals to harvest from I would literally die. Like pigs for bacon.

2021-04-30 17:24:45 +0000 UTCOh wow....thank you so much for the ideas! I am saving your comment for future reference! I have a Blender cum juicer in the works and smoothies and smoothie bowls are in the top of the list! I have plans for other cereals...i have only done rice and wheat so far...many more left to do! I was planning an add on/separate machine to dry/cut/press stuff to make chips and dried fruits-nuts. But a dehydrator module to the canning station is a great idea too!

2021-04-29 20:22:12 +0000 UTCPretty much all the themes i have in mind will have one or more of that! Maybe sometimes hot beverages instead of cold. This reminds me that i need to make some of my recent food into grand meals! Also my favourite thing to make is nice looking desserts!

2021-04-29 20:17:42 +0000 UTCMizore Yukii is working on a wood cutting mod! I will make plenty of stuff with wood after she is done. I may also add a collect wood interaction to all my custom harvestables!

2021-04-29 20:14:42 +0000 UTCI prefer random food and drink items but I guess doing a theme and announcing it in advance will give some people the option of cancelling for that month if they wanted. I dunno. As for what I specifically want more of: pretty cakes/desserts, cold beverages and grand meals.

2021-04-29 19:28:51 +0000 UTCI love everything you do! Whatever order and whatever you do I will keep subscribing and my SIMS will be better for it. I am not sure how doable this would be, or if there is enough interest in it to make it worth it but… I would love to see a blender/food processor that functions as a smoothie maker with smoothies and smoothie bowls; as well as having the ability to make various plant-based/nut milks (oat, soy, rice, nut..). Hummus, guacamole, baba ganoush, French onion dip, bean dip, salsa’s (normal and fruit based one like mango or peach salsa but that may be more of a canning thing) etc., could be made in them as well. This could add additional harvestables and mill items that could go with it. Acai and Goji berries; beets, etc., Additional seed stuff like chai and flax seeds; hemp hearts (which could harvest the seeds for food items and then the leaves where it can be used to make crafts). I haven't seen it anywhere, in the past but custom fishing things like seaweed and spirulina, instead of just mermaid kelp. And potentially more nuts (typical ones found in plant milks outside of almond – cashew, hazelnut, and macadamia), and for the mill oats that could make oat milk and different oatmeal dishes (baked style, porridge/stove top, desserts like crisps and crumbles, granola etc.) An addon to the canning station, or separate but sort of goes with it could be a dehydrator. You could have different levels like dried fruits and veggies with all of the harvestable, apple chips and banana chips, pumpkin seeds, cocoa nibs, shredded/dried coconut, nori/seaweed sheets (if possible for custom harvestables like seaweed - which could open the possibility of a sushi station in the future, rice paper sheets could add on for California rolls – I think I read that nori might be coming already), powders from the spirulina (there are kinds that make bright blue or deep green), beet and macha (common smoothie add-ins) could be made from the dehydrator as well. With granola, dried fruits, nuts, seeds, shredded/dried coconut, etc…SIMS can make trail mix for adventures or energy boosting snacks. The more I look at it the more it seems like such a huge undertaking though.

2021-04-29 17:35:32 +0000 UTCI'm cool with themed months :) there might be a better place to post this, but I've always wanted a harvestable where you could "harvest" wood, as if your sim is chopping it down

2021-04-29 15:39:09 +0000 UTCSomething I would really really love is being able to make our own candle holders for the candles we can make in the game.

2021-04-28 19:31:50 +0000 UTCHey errors like this are most likely due to outdated traits. This patch affected mainly UI, social and core mods and didnt touch the craftables/recipes/harvestables per se..so the errors shouldnt directly be due to them! I will check it out and see if i get errors in game!

2021-04-28 18:40:01 +0000 UTCHey I didnt know that the expander doesnt work with my mods...i wonder why since my drink mods are via script. i think I will take to srslysims and see what the issue is!

2021-04-28 18:38:05 +0000 UTCI have a heaps of craftable appliances I want to make..some are in the preliminary planning stage and some are further along with prototype objects - jewellery, glass decor, toys, pottery, perfumes...aaaahhh...I wish I had more time to implement everything lol

2021-04-28 18:28:37 +0000 UTCHey, not sure where else to post this, just hoping it gets to you or someone has already let you know.. since the patch yesterday, aLOT of the cc i have of yours(which i am pretty sure I've got everything you have available) is either throwing last exceptions or showing with invalid tuning. Just wanted to let you know because I haven't seen anyone talking about it. The main 2 I remember from the exceptions were the avocado kale salad and avocado spread or sauce? they both had avocado in them lol I love it when we get an update but its a nightmare at the same time lol I can't sim without your CC and srsly's cooking overhaul, it just isn't the same. Also, since I never really comment on here... YOU'RE AMAZING!! I love everything you make and hope you never stop. Also, I'm game for anything you wanna do with your time, themes or otherwise as long as you enjoy what you're doing and I keep getting that cc.... think i'm addicted? nah.. maybe. okay, a little lol
2021-04-28 18:04:57 +0000 UTCThe idea of a theme per month I find its brilliant. Could you make Leniad Alcohols (https://sims4studio.com/search/results?captcha_id=captcha_search&what_all=%23Distillery%20&who_only_made_by=0&display_as=0&search=Search) compablite with your drink mod? because we have to download the SrslySims_LenaidMenuExpander_2.2 and it conflicts with your drink mod. And I prefer your mods hihi Thank you for everything you do, it gives more life to our sims.

2021-04-28 13:25:30 +0000 UTCI would LOVE to see some soul food recipes and holiday dinner recipes. Creole/Cajun themes would be nice too!!

2021-04-28 12:14:44 +0000 UTCLove your content! Themed months would be fun. Would love to see different cuisines so when making restaurants it's easier. Maybe some vegan dishes as well and adding to the healthy lifestyle food? :)

2021-04-28 09:38:58 +0000 UTCi like themed sets it just depends on what it is. Like i would love summer themes, BBQ themes, as someone already said soul food themes, breakfast themes.

2021-04-28 02:16:26 +0000 UTCI would love themed months! Especially if we could get something like a soul food set. The fact that my simmies can't have black eyed peas on New Years will forever make me sad.

2021-04-27 19:58:07 +0000 UTCI would love a soap making station. I absolutely love sim craft-making and being able to sell in a yard sale/plopsy. I miss them being able to sew. Any craftable items would be awesome, like sewing, making decor items, jewelry, toys, etc-anything you'd see at a craft fair. Even just adding more items to existing craft-making items like the woodworking station, knitting, etc.

2021-04-27 18:27:47 +0000 UTCThere is a chinese simmer who has made many dishes! If you google search for chinese sims 4 food, he comes up. I think that also Maxismatchccworld has some of the foods on there.

2021-04-27 17:06:46 +0000 UTCThis is very true. While the discussions are appreciated and help it feel like a community event, you (Icemunmun) have great taste and always make enjoyable content that we'd downl;oad.

2021-04-27 17:01:31 +0000 UTCI think themed months sound great!! I also just want to say...I really appreciate the way you always ask us for our opinions or advice, in re: your sims foods. I'm also gonna say that I don't think it's necessary, lol. I think we'd all stick around, follow, download and use whatever mods or foods you gave us, without complaint. :) :) :)

2021-04-27 16:58:02 +0000 UTCI do like themes but I'd vote for a more Asian theme, I know we have snowy escape but I'd go for more Ancient China with dim sum~

2021-04-27 16:56:05 +0000 UTCTheme months for sure. Africa is so vast, with so many cultural foods - but highly underrepresented in-game. It'd be great for a variety of foods to be able to eat. Help others learn new recipes for irl maybe as well. Looking forward to the soap and mochi. Thank you kindly.
K
2021-04-27 16:40:23 +0000 UTCIf you're asking about planted trees, no. The game will recognize trees for decoration, and then gardening. Because trees fall under the gardening, there are no sub-filters for this.

2021-04-27 15:55:13 +0000 UTCThe soap-making station is an excellent idea - I have been waiting for someone to make soaps that the Sims can use. Taking a shower with a specific soap and/or shampoo is something I have always wanted. As for your idea on certain themes - I think it is a good idea, too. I also think it could help you organize your ideas easily. I do hope that you still plan to make your rustic oven.

2021-04-27 15:21:05 +0000 UTCYou can grow meats on the meat wall that comes with Eco Living. There is also a mod that allows you to convert to a Meat Wall without having to do the career. LittleMsSam's "Meat wall for everyone" mod. When I harvest the meat wall it gives me the option of harvesting pork, chicken, red meat (all of which give the relevant cooking ingredient) or just plain harvesting (which gives the default meat cubes)
Chelsea
2021-04-27 15:08:20 +0000 UTCI think that your creative energy will be ever appreciated with themes as your focus. I wonder if it might be possible to grow the meat that can be added to the recipes? I really love growing all of the ingredients for the recipes. I'm new so I might be missing something that is already there too. Thank you for all your amazing creations! I especially enjoy objects that can be used for gathering ingredients and give sims buffs and skills.

2021-04-27 14:50:56 +0000 UTCThemes sound amazing!!
2021-04-27 14:39:19 +0000 UTCAlso adding my cheers for African month. I'm married to a Malawian and there's nothing like what we eat in the game...very much looking forward to Msima in my game! Well done!

2021-04-27 14:33:11 +0000 UTCTheme months sound fab to me too, and will probably keep you interested in what you're doing. The random stuff months would probably also be a welcome break from the norm, and you'd probably have lots of ideas to add to other items by the time random month pops round too.

2021-04-27 14:07:03 +0000 UTCI'm also putting my support here for the theme months!! I can't wait to see what you come up with. I'm intrigued by the soap making -- I make candles, and lots of us dip our toes into making soap at some point.

2021-04-27 14:03:56 +0000 UTCIs there a way to filter trees from plants when planting gardens?
2021-04-27 13:53:26 +0000 UTCTheme months are okay with me, and I would also love to see more recipes for existing sets. Some African cuisine would be amazing, definitely an underrepresented culture in the game right now.

2021-04-27 13:11:16 +0000 UTCThat is a wonderful idea! I will do that sometime later this year for sure!

Magnin Pascale
2021-04-27 12:32:25 +0000 UTCReally love the African cuisine idea, there’s not enough of that around. You’re right a month wouldn’t be enough to cover all of them though so you may need to do add one after or just keep adding to the list as time goes
