Sounds fair. Also may i ask would nsfw topics with the DK cast be okay for the full color illustration? Maybe not with the younger cast but perhaps with the older chars like Vi and the Indigos?

Good questions. 8 ) When it comes to Dreamkeepers cast characters, hypothetical / alternate scenes; sure, depictions of sex; no, nudity; generally no, with possible exceptions like maybe the Indigos stripping on stage, or something similarly close to scenarios depicted in the books.

I'm not sure how to rotate slots? But I do plan to refrain from offering the top commission slot every month, based on how busy we are. So if it gets removed and added again periodically, I think that should give new people a chance to nab it.

We plan to post them publicly, unless the person requests otherwise- although I'm already behind on posting completed commissions, so it might take awhile. X D But the pinups for certain would be posted pretty much immediately to backers, and then publicly in a month or so, the way we eventually post Sketch of the Month art publicly.

We were careful to inform customers up-front that it would be a very long wait if they purchased a slot on the 2011 list, and that we'd be working through the Big Commission Queue at a rate of roughly one slot per month. Most people simply 'reserved' a slot for $5, and ever since we've never opened online commissions. I've stayed in touch with the list and offered refunds to anyone who gets tired of waiting, as well as offering them the chance to exchange their slot for an instant drawing of greater value. Nobody else outside of this list has ever had the opportunity to acquire a color commission slot from us over the past decade. I want to keep our customers happy, and create great art for them- and my aim is that by staying in touch and offering them all these options, especially since they understood they were entering a highly exclusive waiting list, we're doing a fair job. As for interfering with our DK work- an extra couple days a month spent drawing will interfere far less than spending 8 hours a day burger flipping. ^ ^;

Sounds like a nice idea overall! However, in accordance with what was said above me, so long as the other commissions still get finished and V5 progress isn't interrupted, things will turn out alright. It would definitely make the patreon timeline even more diverse ☺

If you have a waiting list, please make sure to take care of them first. I’d love to commission you, but far too many times I’ve known what it felt like to toss money at someone who constantly takes more and more work on while my commission gets lost in the pile. Also, I wouldn’t want commissions to interfere with your DK work.

Mmm sounds interesting. Got a few things I'm wondering. Can any character get chosen for pin ups ? How explicit will these pin ups be ? With the commission can we ask for stuff like alternate scenes from the comics stories ? Mace and Lilith kissing romantically? Or Mace as an adult ? The cast as star wars characters ? I get no hardcore sex stuff between Lilith Bast Mace and Namah but what about the older characters ? Like Bobby and Vi doing it ? Also what are the limits on nudity ? If there is any allowed that is. Like if asked for the Indigo sisters topless scene from the front would that work ? Or full view of Lilith bathing naked in the starfalls ?

It sounds like a great idea! Though my only concern would be further delays to V5 production. But if that wouldn't be hit then I'm all for it.

But $300... damn. That's quite a lot, especially with no chance to provide feedback or request edits during the sketch or flats stages.

If you're fairly sure the artwork you'd be taking on wouldn't impact the rate at which you complete your other works, it seems like a fairly win-win idea.
