This is one of my favorite backdrops in the book- I'm a sucker for layers of depth and phosphorescence.
Available in high res from Vivid- plus a few new things are in our store this month: http://www.dreamkeeperscomic.com/Store.html Wayward Astronomer novel, Whip plush, SKIRMISH pre-order- and UberQuest Volume 2 on the horizon.
While I'm here, brief rambling update on my work for this week.
I'm nearly done building a nice solid Prelude buffer- I have 4-5 weeks drawn in advance, and I plan to have a stream-a-thon this week to get all those colored.
Then I'll be sitting pretty- weekly Prelude work will be relatively easy to maintain, and it won't impose any deadlines within the week, which lets me allocate my time more effectively.
Also this week, I'm finishing the pencils on a commission from our queue, so color blocking can get started on that.
Same for the SKIRMISH playmat art- blues are done, and I aim to complete the pencils so colors can begin. I also want to draw the blues for the first piece of SKIRMISH desktop art, and concept poses for the Tinsel & Scinter expansion deck cards so backers can vote on their favorite.
Card templates are nearly finalized, so then I plan to jump on pencils for the original art of the most solid SKIRMISH deck. Along with this I plan to do the blue-line work for another scene of Volume 5.
And, of course, I need to catch up on exciting stuff like accounting, forum glitches, and taxes.
And meanwhile Liz has some exciting things under her belt, including making inroads on color production for our upcoming Christmas book, Firebrat. Picture Fairly Odd Parents meet Krampus, with a dash of Invader Zim flavor.
So, here's to another week of creating as much fun as I can manage! Along with occasional breaks to eat pie or run around looking at the sky.
