2025-02-01 21:08:19 +0000 UTCI have to admit I was really looking forward to your reactions to the build up in Episode 19 and then the resolution of the battle in this episode. The writing for the character interactions and their fates are amazing and sometimes heartbreaking. It reveals the harsh cost of war. No matter how bad it got Admiral Okita's stoic dedication to his crew and the mission to save the Earth never wavered. Okita was cool throughout the battle and maintained command to bring it about to an incredible, although costly, victory. Kodai suffered a big lost seeing Yuki captured and taken by the Gamalons right in front of him in addition to the lost of lives among the crew of the Yamato. This ship is in such a state that it reflects the state of the crew, beaten down, but like the ship itself, they continue on.
