Robotech 1x51 (2x15) 'Clone Chamber' FULL LENGTH Reaction & Review

I can't find it, I think it was in an Interview with Carl Macek (The creator or Robotech who was the one who spliced the series together) But if I remember correctly he had dubbed 14 episodes of Macross to air. Then they found out it couldn't be because it was to short. If I recall correctly he said they were given like 6 weeks to splice, script, and dub Robotech to get it on TV on time. I'm more impressed there aren't more mistakes.

They've used the term Android a few times through The Masters Saga. If you remember way back during The Trap (e44/s02e08), they find the tanks of body parts (About 7.5 mins in), and they refer to them as spare parts for biotechnical androids. I believe they also mention that they're used for bioroid pilots, so they're using the term android, but referring to "bio androids", which I think just means synthetically created beings in this case. I think that's what the deal is, anyway. In the original anime, Zor was just a regular pilot who has been brainwashed, but in Robotech Dana and the ASC are aware that Zor is an alien, but also that he has lost his memory, and they're trying to help him recover it. Does that help?

...and now for the man prayer. "I'm a man, but I can change, if I have to, I guess." :D

Dumb trivia time: there used to be a television series that aired in Canada (and I think in the States on PBS) called The Red Green Show. At the very end of the credits, where they have the production company logo stuff, there’s an audio clip of Angie with his “Oh boy, this is too much!” Always blew my mind because someone on staff had to have been a fan of Robotech at some point. It has since been removed from the episodes but it WAS there. As for the android thing, I think that’s because he’s a clone. Louie also had the line (paraphrased) “Spare parts from androids!” in the episode “The Trap.” So it is probably meant to be derogatory. I really love the exchange between Nova and Dana though. “Now wait a minute, Dana, I don’t like the sound of that, ‘Someone like her!’” “You’re not supposed to like it, you tramp, it was an insult!”
