Don't call him 'Tiny'

One thing I love about Marco's character is how he speaks. He's just as educated (by Inners) as Naomi, and he talks in a 'refined' way. But when he's talking with Belters his creole accent is super strong, to make it seem like he's one of them.

You just want to punch that pretty mouth of Marco and that other woman, jesus! The frustration for Naomi's situation is strong. Marco is so silver tongued he doesn't realize he's starting to reinforce the doubt in Filip: when the two men are talking in the mess, Marco reminds Filip he had to sacrifice the dude Andrew on that science ship even though he loved him. That's exactly what Naomi told him about why she abandoned him. It's those little things that this young man will cling to.

Some time back when I was in my youth, I "invented" a saying for myself that I used to describe a certain way I see life. It went like, "Honour does not show in what you do, but rather how you do it!" in German, of course ;) Anyhow, that is also partly what you described. It is not so much what you do in life but how you do it. I was young, so keep that in mind; nonetheless, if you see how society works and most of our rules and values, this still holds a lot of truth for me. Drummer might fit this as well - do it better and with some decency and rules to it. Still pisses certain people off, but maybe its not just wrong. Funny though - for a long time I was convinced I took the quote out of a movie I liked, but many years later I looked it up and the used quote was totally different—something like "Honour does not lie in the weapon, but the men." Now I take full credit! ;)

Regarding Drummer and her recent life choices :) ... I think she's kind of sold herself on the idea that piracy (a tradition among Beltaloda, after all) can be conducted in a humane manner. She's trying to ensure that the piracy in the Belt, or at least whatever part of the belt where she has established her group as the "controlling faction," can be limited to the plundering of valuable goods, things with resale value that are presumably insured, while at the same time preserving life and limb among said piracy's victims. This "try to control the chaos from the inside" thing is not a completely unheard of concept. How well it will work out -- particularly with Marco now part of the equation -- remains to be seen, but I think her intentions are... well, if not good, then at least not murderous. And that's better than a lot of the other people she is tangling with. It's not perfect, but given her background, it's pretty understandable. I think that, like Bobbie was in Season 4, Drummer is a little lost right now, trying to figure out who she is and what she wants to be when she grows up. I have a feeling she'll figure it out eventually, don't you?

I cannot wait to listen to Ty and That Guy! And my guesses are low-grade dog food compared to what these creatives are going to drop :D

Right!?! How dare they :D

The bastard showmakers keep ending the episodes, jerks.

Since you like “Tiny,” you should know there’s an episode of the Ty and That Guy podcast where they interview Boomer (the actor who plays him). Turns out he’s hilarious. Note the show said there was an explosion at the Martian Parliament, not that they blew it up completely. Love all your hypotheses. We’ll see how they compare to those of the authors and writers.
