So excited to get more of these. It's easily my favorite modern Trek. There are definitely episodes I know you are going to love.

2024-11-05 19:32:34 +0000 UTCI'm a big fan of SNW. I think the writing is generally very good and the I'm very much enjoying the performances. I generally do have a problem with prequels for the obvious reasons, but i think especially with Trek, just moving fwd in the timeline runs into some big problems as well. I think those were faced in Discovery later seasons. Honestly, unless they decided to just go all the way in with something like the federation growing into Iain Banks 'The Culture' .

2024-11-05 03:00:43 +0000 UTCIt's cool how you're picking up on strategy like being aware of the wake of the ship or heading toward brown dwarf's radiation oto mask the ship :) It's cool to watch Trek in production order to get the references and callbacks, but what you say about plot armour is why I think peopl should watch it in chronological order if possible. I love Trek but it's too bad they're doing prequel stuff now, as awesome as this is, it does kinda spoil the tension.
