Time to pick a side.

also, Sundpot originally didn’t have any special durability when powered up. It’s what made him unique among the super strong characters.

Ok, yes, Magneta does have a point. However, how many people are in airplanes at any given time in the world? How many people are in the middle of surgery or on life support? Well, all those people are dead now. And yes, he’s right and Xavier is wrong. (See the past 40 years of X-Men comics) But bro needs to focus that rage a bit better.

Your comments about Xavier hearing peoples thoughts and that making him perhaps a little unrealistic are interesting. I am reminded of the discussion Bastion has with Val Cooper last episode. He talks about how people root for the underdog but in the face of something like Genosha the response is apathy unless they have skin in the game.
Xavier probably does hear a lot of people's thoughts expressing sympathy. Humans can be compassionate. But as the scene with Roberto's mother last episode showed, people can be sympathetic to a group but still choose to the safety of the status quo when asked to step up.
