I really enjoyed your reactions, had to come to patreon after I found you on YT. Looking forward to season 2!

Yeah, Silco is certainly a manipulator and his motives are less than pure but he is at his core looking to instigate progress. Progress for Zaun and for Jinx. That progress is corrupted by his own trauma and ruthlessness. Vi, has been all about returning to that moment when she left Powder and undoing her mistake, without acknowledging the damage that mistake created. The damage that created Jinx. The struggle on the political side of things mirrors the individual struggles. VI wants things to stay the same; status quo (The Council's and Heimmerdinger's stance at the beginning), Silco wants progress for Jinx, turning her into a version of himself; and to create The Nation of Zaun in his own image; change, but change with an authoritarian backing. Echo and Heimmerdinger are starting to discuss the potential for change through cooperation and coexistence; something that the Council under Jayce and Medarda are trying to achieve as well. And then, as always, there are the uncontrollable, destructive variables. Those who just want to see everything burn; to inflict their own trauma upon others. In other words; agents of chaos. Jinx.

Great take, my friend! Excellent!

On spot I think; like that very much.

As much as Vi loves her sister, she really doesn't understand her. When Vi is trying to get her sister to "remember who she is" she throws out the names of people like Milo, Claggor, and Vander. Vi probably finds her memories of them comforting, but for Jinx mentioning them just triggers her trauma. Silco on the other hand sees how much this is triggering Jinx and tries to get Vi to stop. Of course, being Silco he tries to get Vi to stop by taking a shot at her which doesn't really help the situation.

When Jinx asked Vi to make Caitlyn "go away", I couldn't help but think about Vi's story about how when her and Powder were kids they would make up scary monsters until Powder got scared and Vi would have to "chase her own monsters away." In Jinx's mind, Caitlyn was one of Vi's monsters.

The absolutely perfect ending. Brilliant!

Arcane is really special. The storytelling is just on another level. It won a lot of awards, but it’s kind of wild that Bad Batch won the Saturn award over it. Don’t get me wrong, Bad Batch is cool, but Arcane hit me in a way that few shows ever do. Jinx’s story is such a tragedy. The way she ends up causing the deaths of Vander and Silco, two people who were like father figures to her, is just heartbreaking. Then how she pretty much seals the fate of any peace between Piltover and the Undercity... this show really doesn’t pull any punches. What I love most is how every time I rewatch it, I notice something new. The details, the way everything ties together, it’s just so well done. Honestly, Arcane is up there as one of my all-time favorite shows, and I can’t wait to see what they do with season 2! P.S. Please consider checking out Scavengers Reign on Netflix/Max. It's an incredible sci-fi show that has creative creature designs, concepts, suspense and horror. It's definitely worth watching!
