Moho Pro Goal Reached
Added 2023-02-28 04:59:36 +0000 UTCI couldn't believe it, when I saw the notification on my phone that someone pledged to the Moho tier the positive emotions hit me hard. That these silly, little cartoons I've made could have enough support to get them back up and running after my forced hiatus. I just..wow. π
For a bit of background: After my YouTube revenue dipped down too much to pay
for Adobe subscriptions anymore, I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and learn NEW animation software that wouldn't require a subscription. I was unimpressed by the free stuff like OpenToonz or Blender and so I dove into training myself on trials of various "pay once and own forever" software which included: Cacani, Moho Pro, TVPaint, and Toon Boom Harmony Premium.
Moho immediately caught my eye as a great program for puppet animation and vectors so it moved to my "will buy" list while experimenting with TVPaint and Toon Boom proved themselves to be the Queens of the frame-by-frame animation I've been doing for years in Flash (getting Toon Boom or TVP is another goal for another day lol).
It'll take me a little bit to get used to Moho's workflow, I'm still finishing up it's tutorials. The work that comes out of it may look quite different from what you're used to seeing out of me but the spirit shall remain. :-)
