My favorite episode so far. Not just because of the opportunity to see DS9 again, but also for so much goodness around Tendi. She's starting to compete with Brad as my favorite.

I will never be ashamed when this show makes me cry :) To evoke such a response is a testament to the writing and performances.

I always feel like every Lower Decks episode was made just for me, but this one I EXTRA feel that lol. Its a real comfort episode for me, I've rewatched it so many times. I love that you enjoyed it and still got so much out of it even without having watched DS9, that's truly the magic of Lower Decks!

2024-03-12 03:44:35 +0000 UTCAnd Mesk is obnoxious, but he's voiced by Adam Pally (from "Happy Endings" and the best eps of the "How Did This Get Made" podcast, hosted by Paul Sheer, AKA Billups). And they did kinds do the Worf thing with him being so into Orion stuff, but he came clean, and even apologized for being like that. And if you think Tendi rules now, wait till you meet her family... This episode also conclusively proves that Boimler can anchor a C/D plot and still freaking rule. Next ep IS a bit of a tone shift. I love it, it's a lil wonky, but it's a nice break until ep 8, AKA the greatest episode ever. ANd you will be a wreck after (in a good way) Lastly, hope your cold gets better!
