Ah yes, this episode. The episode where Kirk tries to brain Ruk with a giant stone dildo at 0:35:17. Greg - Unless you've already seen it and for the sake of curiosity, check out two unsuccessful TV series pilots created by Gene Roddenberry, that also co-starred Ted Cassidy, called Genesis II (1973) and Planet Earth (1974). You might find it interesting that Diana Muldaur also starred in Planet Earth. As you can probably guess the stories aren't as good as those typical of Star Trek given the pilots were never picked up by TV networks to be worked into full series. But I saw them when I really young and they carry a memory of nostalgia in me. Last I checked you can still acquire a 2-movie collection set of these movies on blu-ray. I think they are also streamed from Amazon Prime as well.
