2022-02-01 23:37:35 +0000 UTCI feel Chrono Trigger's airtight pacing only gets more praise and recognition as time goes on as it is so common for games these days to not respect your time and in the worst cases even build wasting your time into the game design. Whenever people complain about games in the 30-40 hour range being too short (and thus they will say not worth the price), my mind always snaps to Chrono Trigger as a counter example. I just want more games like this.

Fun fact about the music, sounds panning across the sound system you are listening with is a reoccurring motif that ties into the theme of time as it mimics the swing of a pendulum and is especially prevalent in the song "Undersea Palace". Chrono Cross is the sequel to Chrono Trigger. World Revolution plays during the second phase of the final boss-Lavos.
