The original version of Distant Worlds was the ending theme to one of the expansions, originally performed by Izumi Masuda. Susan Calloway really made it her own though. This is what made Uematsu want to collaborate with her for the FFXIV theme songs. There are a few more versions of this too, like a rock ballad from The Black Mages.
