If Final Fantasy is a hard earned and bittersweet victory, sacrifices made along the way but generally hopeful about the future. NieR is about the realization that your fight was meaningless from the start and brought despair onto you and everyone else with just a tiny little ray of hope at the end, maybe. PS.
