Hello Brave Adventurers,
Today's version includes quite a few content additions and changes that will now be applied to any newly generated sandbox.
One of the things I went back and forth with during the last couple of weeks was the weather generator. I experimented with various strategies until eventually opting for 2d6 tables. I think this will allow referees to control how to apply weather according to their own season tracking strategy.
HEXROLL will now generate random tables for one or more seasons (Dry Season, Wet Season, Cold Season and Warm Season) so the referee can use a 2d6 roll to determine the current conditions when the players enter any hex. Ocean weather tables will also include wind direction and strength.
Adding to the already generated cults and militias, HEXROLL will now generate syndicates. These criminal organizations will provide more potential storylines, or business opportunities, for your thieves and assassins.
I also dedicated some time to review and revise dungeon area descriptions. You will now see more variety in the text and you will stumble upon new features here and there.

The next rollout will feature more tokens, a new 'Island' realm type, some subtle rendering improvements, and If all goes well, it will be the last alpha rollout before the beta \o/
