New Years Update.
Added 2020-12-29 21:01:42 +0000 UTCSo, the accursed year of 2020 is about to be over, and boy, has it been a year.
I have been publishing this novel for around 3½ months now, and it has experienced quite the growth. Patreon has only been around for about 2 months, so we are still in the early days.
Well, first of all, I would like to thank you all for reading and (hopefully) enjoying the story! I have a lot more coming, and I hope you all continue to enjoy it, especially now that the tutorial is over for the 5 and 10-dollar Patrons.
It has been quite a journey even if it is short, and I would especially like to thank the nice people on Discord (you know who you are. No, not you). Every positive comment on every new chapter helps a lot, and every piece of constructive criticism helps to improve the story... even if I deal with it badly at times.
Anyway, plans for 2021 are pretty much unchanged. There won't be a chapter on the 31st, but there will be one on the 1st of January. After that, let's stick to the good old 5 chapters a week.
For my dear Hunters out there, I will do my best to try and get out at least one side story a week (on weekends) to help expand the story. There has been a lot of talk about increased advanced chapters for the 10-dollar tier, but I am not sure about doing that... I would love some feedback on that one.
On that note, I would also ask if there is other stuff you all would want? I considered doing a few polls or a Q&A or something, so let me know if you guys are interested in any of that.
Also, here at the end, a bit of a weird request... if some of you peps haven't rated the story yet on RRL, go throw a quick one. It helps a lot, and it is equally as motivating to see the rating improve as it is demotivating seeing it decline. It's been in freefall for a while :-/

Compare e.g. The Wandering Inn with other progression fantasy stories. It's faaaar more well known and popular, but the patreon still doesn't make that much money compared to other patreons with more chapters. One month of chapters seems to work well because people who stop the patreon get new chapters after a reasonable time.

2020-12-29 22:21:31 +0000 UTCI agree with Khress that patreon does not do a very good job of making it easy for creators to update their supporters on different tiers for the same posting. I would also state that, unless you find yourself able to really quickly churn out more and more chapters, that I would rather quality over quantity. Currently, as much as I would love more chapters to read, I would rather continue having the weekly 5 at the same quality we have now, than have you try and increase the totals available only have the story/quality suffer for the attempt. 2020-12-29 22:00:12 +0000 UTCPersonally I think 5$ should be the cap for more chapters. I support a bunch of authors and the ones that have their stuff at 10$ don't have as many patrons. If you do decide to do it make it worth it. If 5$ is 20 chapters ahead make it 40 or 50 chapters.

I am more looking for other ways to give them something that isn't advance chapters. Based on comments so far, i plan on just keeping it as it is. Didn't really want to change it anyway :p

Either you don’t get an info when your chapter is unlocked or you just leave because the patreon altogether because if you can’t have the most up to date info you might as well wait for royalroad. If you support ~10 people on patreon, i, for example, 5 bucks higher is alot Edit: great story and have blast into the new year! Stay healthy in 2021!

I usually go by the policy of only supporting for full access or nothing and sadly I have few more novels Id like to support and since my budget is limited I would have to drop this one. It is great but I for me supporting by 5$ a month is as high as Iam willing to go.
