I am back and working super hard on some new singles coming your way!! This one was an original I started writing a while ago with Hannah and Johnny, and we liked it a lot but didn't feel like it belonged on an album, so here it is for you!
We've got so much coming at you on the MALINDA front in particular. I'm really excited about all that I've been able to open up creatively after taking a little time off. So GET READY!!

In my life I re-connected with several old friends some of which I had not seen for over 15 years (I'm in my 40s). One of them, we just picked up like nothing happened. Others, well, people change over time and that is ok too. I want to add that the music for this song is so well performed. It completes the lyrics and sets the mood perfectly.

While my life hasn't been a failure, it also has been the success that I dreamed about when in school. I felt inadequate and a bit ashamed. Within a week of answering, I found myself in a Zoom meeting with 6 of my friends from that time. It was wonderful. We all pick scars as we travel through life. It is amazing that our friends either don't notice or don't care.

Sorry I don't have any reconciliation stories to share -- all my friendships that have reached that point have never recovered, but luckily they are in the minority. If this really happened to you I hope writing this song helped with the healing.
