November Expansion Thoughts

Hey everyone, before I get into this update I just wanted to say thank you so much for all the nice messages and comments about DELVE: Quests. I was a bit nervous about it but your kindness has really perked me up :)

So, update! We're on RISE this month and my partner floated the excellent idea of expanding the Raiding mechanic. I'm not sure I'll be able to get every Realm properly included (though who knows, maybe I will) but essentially what I'm thinking is:

1) The ability to build outposts and Realm specific buildings on a new map that is joined to the Hold by a Secured Raiding Portal.

2) ♣ and ♠ Tables for exploring each Realm with unique encounters for each Realm.

There are 13 Realms which would mean 52 pages of Tables which is a bit much for one month. Especially if I want to include new Rooms, Units, mechanics etc. So I'm going to spend the weekend deciding how I want to approach this and your opinions can help here:

1) Break the expansion down into multiple smaller ones and have these be the next 3 RISE releases.

2) Incorporate this into my BIG expansion idea called RISE: Conquest which will get a print release but will take closer to a year and mean I have nothing to give during RISE months. Conquest would give you something to accomplish once you have reached the surface as well as the game switches to a top down, zoomed out view and you start ransacking towns and toppling empires.

3) Do something else.
