Silence and A Tease
Added 2021-09-12 11:54:16 +0000 UTCHey everyone, sorry for the long silence after the Cyberspace update, I've been working on a collaborative project that we're gearing up to announce on Wednesday and have just been so wrapped up in that.
This month's expansion is for Apothecaria (I can't believe it's already been 3 months since Tinker's Troubles) and its going to be a bit different as it'll be focusing more on downtime activities as you work in the Familiar Shelter!
My aim for this expansion is to give you something a bit more mechanically rewarding to do during Downtime. It also helps that this serves double duty as worldbuilding and gives me a good base for other Downtime activities (currently thinking about making clothes, performing rituals, etc).
My initial idea for this was to include art for the different named familiars but as I'm currently on a tight deadline for this upcoming project, I may have to release it without art and then finish it off properly once I can. I hope that's alright.
Oh, and one last thing, I'm going to have 12 named Familiars in the shelter that have personalities and abilities and what I'd really like to do with this is offer a place to memorialize people's past pets. I currently have a cat and two dogs going in and would really like to include other animals like a rabbit, bird, snake, or lizard.

I know this post is a year old but if you need some ideas still I have a number of snakes and geckos with interesting personalities!

She kept escaping from her cage no matter how much we reinforced it, only to wander around the room and nap on pillows. Name lovingly stolen at the time from Terry Pratchett.
