Server move, some downtime to expect tomorrow

I just wanted to let you know that my hosting company got sold and so my account gets moved to another server by them, they have written that there will be a downtime tomorrow, friday. I hope that the 4-8 hours are just a bad joke, something like that should not take so long I think, but we will see. I will keep you updated!
"Your account has been scheduled for a migration to the new server on Friday, October 9th, at 9:00 PM US Central Time. We expect the migration to take about 4-8 hours. All of your data will be transferred to this new server during the migration."
